We offer high quality sightseeing tours customized to your desires. We cover remote areas of Kodiak Island, Raspberry Island and Afognak Island waters. These tours offer not only landscape and scenery beyond your imagination, but abundant marine life and unbelievable bird rookeries loaded with puffins, sea gulls, and many other species of birds. If you are checking your life list, as many avid bird watchers do, you will have many new and unusual sightings to add. Humpback whales, Fin whales, Orcas, and Dall’s Porpoise are also abundant in these waters. You could spend hours drifting with the whales if you desire. Your tour could include a hike, exploring remote beaches, Sitka Spruce rain forests, or streams full of spawning salmon, which offer you the best opportunity to see a Kodiak Brown bear. Some of these sights are seasonal, but large colonies of sea otters, for instance, may be viewed year round. The photography opportunities are endless!

Our sightseeing charters depart from two locations: Village of Port Lions or Anton Larsen Bay dock. Anton Larsen Bay is a beautiful scenic drive fifteen miles out of the city of Kodiak. Port Lions is a remote village twenty miles west of the city of Kodiak. You cannot drive to Port Lions. There are great advantages to departing from either one of these locations. Both locations are situated in protected waters on Kodiak. This means that we can always sightsee and explore in calm waters. This area has a reputation for being one of the most scenic areas around Kodiak Island.

The boats we use for sightseeing charters are well maintained and safe. They have an enclosed cabin with heat and a clean restroom. Your guide is licensed by the US Coast Guard, clean cut, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area and the eco-system.
